Five On Friday

My favourite day of the week is here once again.  Surprisingly, I actually like Friday's better than Saturday's.  I think it's because I love the anticipation of knowing I have the full weekend ahead of me.  Another random fact, I also despise Tuesday's more than Monday's. The first day back after the weekend I'm usually pretty rested and excited, but then on Tuesday it hits me that we still have a while to go before the weekend.

Anywho, let's get this started shall we.

ONE//  I am the most excited about seeing Brad Paisley in concert Saturday night. Although I've never been a huge country fan, I do love concerts and I do love his music so that's a win, win to me. I've been listening to his songs at work the past two weeks to make sure I know the majority of them because I'm gonna wanna be singing to the top of my lungs. It's just not the same when you go to a concert and you can't participate so you just have to stand there swaying back and forth (although I'm sure the people around me would prefer this much better than what's actually going to happen).

TWO//  I realized yesterday that I have been working at my job for exactly two years. And even though some days I feel like I just want to run walk out that door and never look back, the majority of times I've really loved it. Every other job I previously had was in a much smaller setting, so I love that I've been able to meet soooo many new people, not just here in Newfoundland, but across the country.  I also feel that there is an opportunity to grow with this job (knock on wood) which makes it that much better.   Here's to hoping that I continue to feel this way!

THREE//  Todd's nephew (mine too now) is celebrating his first birthday on Saturday so I can't wait to help him celebrate at his party, and if I'm being honest, to also indulge in all of the good things that makes a kids birthday party great.

FOUR//  The lady at the Tim Horton's drive thru now knows me.  She is just the sweetest and it makes me happy around 7:30 each morning when she strikes up a conversation with me. By the way, is it just me or have I been talking about Tim Horton's A LOT in only the few posts I've written so far?  What can I say, this girl loves her coffee (and I guess that's why the lady knows me now).

FIVE//  I bought this sweater at Old Navy this week and I think it's the cutest. I rarely shop there but I was actually really impressed with all of the nice fall sweaters they have.

The camera on my phone has been taking really crappy photos lately (i blame it on running with the phone in my hand).
You know what is impressive, though?
I actually had a few minutes to spare this morning before work to take this picture and upload it.

Also, I have no clue why I love to wave when I'm taking selfies!!

 Have a great weekend!!!

  3. I am a huge fan of Tim Horton's. I discovered my love for Timmy's when I was pregnant. I don't drink coffee, but I loved their Coke. They also had the small cubes of ice that is oh so good. I was really really sad when they switched to Pepsi products. I still go, but it's not as often. :)

Hope you're having a wonderful weekend and enjoy the bday party!

  4. I also despise Tuesdays more than Mondays! Some co-workers and I discussed that this week.
